Day : 1 - A long drive to Chuka Beach

On day 1 we set out for a long 6 hour drive to Chuka beach, after picking you up from Delhi Airport. Chuka beach is located within the Pilihbit Tiger Reserve. On reaching Chuka beach we shall check into our hotel and set out for the Wildlife safari in the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. The chances of spotting the big cat is quite high in Pilibhit, after all. After the Safari we shall still be left with enough time to explore and relax by the great expanse of the water in Chuka beach area. Chuka Beach is a remote sandy beach surrounded by a trees, it is situated on the banks of Sharda Sagar Dam and its a favourite spot for travelers, explorers and wildlife enthusiasts, it is a sure shot haven for sighting the amazing concentration of exotic animals it houses. The evening can be spent relaxing around the bonfire set by the beach area.

Day : 2 - Welcome to the hills of Uttaranchal

On Day we set North from Chuka beach to cross onto Uttaranchal the beautiful Himalayan state of Northern India. Our destination for the day is a will riverside camp at Champawat, which is just about 3.5 hours from Chuka beach. On reaching Champawat we shall check into our luxurious riverside camps and brace ourselves for one of the biggest highlights of the trip, a 4 + grade white water rafting in the Saryu river is a treat for your adrenaline. The river is fed by innumerable streams they race along tortuous boulder-strewn beds, cutting deep gorges and breaking into silvery white rapids. With the intricate network of mountain rivers flowing through a myriad of different colors of rocky gorges, forests, flowers, and high mountain villages, the Champawat hills provide ideal locales for the perfect water adventure. After the White water rafting adventure, we shall return to relax by the riverside camps and there is a bonfire waiting for you at the river beach, for you to relax by it in the evening.

Day : 3 - To the beautiful hills of Chaukori

On day 3 we shall further drive up for slightly more than 4 hours, towards the higher ranges of the Himalayas to reach Chaukori, the beautiful hill station of Eastern Uttaranchal, Kumaon region. Chaukori is also famous for its glorious Himalayan views and the tea gardens of the region. Closing in on Chaukori we shall stop by at the magical waterfalls of Tunkhola, hidden in the midst of mountains. 4KMs of a detour from the main road connecting Chaukori and Thal and 5 mins of walk will take us to the waterfalls. After that we can check into our resort. Towards the evening you can enjoy a hike in the tea estates of the region.

Day : 4 - To Munsyari Hill Top

Chaukori to Munsyari is a 100 km and 4 hour beautiful drive, traversing through the high reaches of Himalayas. We can expect a lot of snow during winters in the region. En route we shall stop to gaze at the majestic waterfalls of Birthi. The spectacular waterfalls fall from a height of 400 feet and is an absolute treat for your eyes and senses. On reaching Munsyari we shall have a short trek to reach our resort, the Alpine resort which is en route to Khaliya top. The resort is not accessible by car and hence we have to take a 3 km relaxed trek to reach this secluded mountain den. The Alpine resort is set at a magical location at a height of about 3300 meters above sea level. During winters the entire region is covered in thick blankets of snow. For those who are less adventurous, we have the option of an alternative resort that is accessible by road and that eliminates the trekking part. On checking in you can relax for the rest of the afternoon taking in the magnificiant Himalayan views.

Day : 5 - Khaliya Top and Munsyari Hill top

On Day 5 we shall do a trek up to the Khaliya top to embrace the beautiful views of the Panchchuli peak one among the highest peaks of Himalayas in the region. The trek is truly a rewarding experience and definitely the biggest highlight of the trip. On returning from the trek you can freshen up and check out from the Alpine resort and trek back to reach the car. We shall drive up to the Munsyari Hill top to enjoy the views and then check into another resort to spend the rest of the day there.

Day : 6 - A peek into Nepal

On Day 6 we shall drive south and descend the higher reaches of Himalayas towards the East to the direction of Pithoragarh. The drive is just over 4 hours and is about 130 kms long. On the way we pass through beautiful mountain sceneries and we come across a point where the road runs next to Kali river of which the other side is Nepal. At this point we shall stop by to visit the Village of Jauljibi, which is otherwise famous for a mela or festival that happens in the month of November called, the Jauljibi Mela. Jauljibi is the point of confluence of the rivers Kali and Gori, and the rivers can be traversed through a suspension bridge, of which the Western side is India and on the Eastern side falls Nepal. Travelers are free to cross the bridge to go to the other side and have a peek of Nepal. From Jauljibi, we shall head further south for another 2 hours and 70 kms to reach Pithoragarh town. Pithoragarh is a beautiful hill town, set at an altitude of about 1650 meters above sea level and is the Eastern most city of Uttaranchal. On reaching Pithoragarh we can check into our resort and spend the rest of the afternoon in a relaxed manner. Towards later half of the afternoon we can visit the Mostyamanu temple which is about 7 kms out of Pithoragarh town. The temple is situated on a hilltop from where we can get a commanding view of the beautiful Pithoragarh town.

Day : 7 - The postcard perfect Mukteshwar

Mukteshwar is a hill town that is perfectly placed in the upper reaches around the lake districts of Uttarakhand. Mukteshwar sits at an altitude of about 2150 meters above sea level in the Kumaoni hills and it is about 145 kms and close to 5 hours of mountain drive from Pithoragarh. Owing to the higher altitude expect the weather in Mukteshwar to be more chilled compared to Pithoragarh. Mukteshwar is also more touristy and falls bang on the popular tourist circuit of Uttaranchal. On reaching Mukteshwar after exploring the town we can try out the Chauli Ki Jali popular ziplining spot in Mukteshwar. The Zipline is renowned as one among the best in the country and it is definitely not for the faint hearted. The panaoramic views from the Chauli Ki Jali hilltop is just amazing. After the Zipline activity we shall proceed to check out another exemplary spot in Mukteshwar, the Bhalugaad waterfalls. To access the waterfalls it involves a short 1 km trek, but it is well rewarding as it is a perfect spot to have a dip in the pool, especially if it is summer time. After visiting the Bhalugaad waterfalls, we shall check into our resort where you can relax for the rest of the afternoon taking in the Himalayan scenic vistas.

Day : 8 - Bhimtal- Nainital - Corbett

On Day 8 we shall set out on a relatively smaller drive starting from Mukteshwar and passing through the lake district of Uttaranchal touching the beautiful Bhimtal and the Lake district region of Uttaranchal and then ascending to the ever popular hill station of Nainital, taking about 2 hours altogether for this scenic drive. At Nainital we shall stop by for boating in the Naini Lake. Nainital is set at an altitude of about 2000 meters above sea level and is an extremely popular tourist destination among the travellers from North of India. Nainital used to be the erst while summer capital of British when the country was under the British rule. Boating in the Naini lake is definitely the must do activity while in Nainital and we also shall not miss that. Another 2 hour drive from Nainital should get us to the lower reaches of Himalayas and to the most popular national park of India, The Jim Corbett National Park.

On the 9th day of the trip we shall head back to Delhi from Corbett. Its a long 5 and half hour and 240 km drive from Corbett National park and we should reach Delhi by early afternoon.. On reaching Delhi we shall have a short tour of the Parliament and the central region and the India gate. Delhi being a vast city, it is not possible to explore it in depths, in just an afternoon, but we shall have a tour of the central parts of New Delhi and proceed to check into your hotel.

Day : 10 - Last day in Delhi

The last day of the trip we can plan it according to your return flight timing. If time permits we can do more city sightseeing, especially around the new parts of the NCR, being the Glamorous Gurgaon region of the city.
